The Key Person System

Children learn best when they are healthy safe and secure. We ensure that your Child’s individual needs are met and that they have a positive relationship with the adults caring for them.

Every child within our care is assigned a key person, a key person has special responsibilities for working with a small number of children giving them the assurance to feel safe and cared for and building relationships with you the parent/carer.

The key person system will help your child to become familiar within our setting and to feel confident and safe within it.

They will also talk to you the parent/carer to make sure that your child’s need are met and their records of development and progress are shared with you and other professionals as necessary.
